Group Exercise Class Offerings
Active Life
This senior fitness class involves using a chair, weights, and inflated balls. Some standing and moving while standing will occur with chair modifications offered if needed. Join us for fitness and fun, while building strength, balance and confidence.
Body Blast
This class is focused on the “full body” aspect; working on strength, balance, and core using dynamic movements and weights. It teaches body awareness and good posture while challenging both mind and body.
Cycle & Flow
This half-cycle ride, half-yoga flow class will give you the perfect balance of cardio, flexibility, and strength. With the cycling portion first, you can be assured that your muscles are warmed up and ready to find your depth during the yoga session.
Cycle 30 AM & PM
Come ride through an express work out with killer hills, jumps, and sprints. A high-intensity cardio ride that will get you smiling, sweating, and out the door in 30 minutes.
Fit Mix
Fit Mix is truly that - a variety of activities to meet your fitness needs! This hour-long class starts with high-energy cardio, then transitions to sets of dynamic flow movements, followed by body toning (no weights needed). The session concludes with sustained flexibility exercises, all designed to refresh and unwind.
Lunch Bunch
If you are into running/walking on your lunch break this opportunity is for you. This is a group-led invitation, to provide runners and walkers alike to make connections with fellow peers and work together towards fitness goals.
P90X Live
A strength group fitness class that uses body weight, dumbbells, and kettlebells to build strength and confidence. The class is designed to be flexible and suitable for everyone. It's a results-driven program that uses the latest techniques to target balance, core strength, and athletic ability through 3 main focus blocks: lower strength, upper strength, and core. Modifications are offered through every exercise to make the class easily accessible to fitness enthusiasts at every level.
P90Xpress
P90X Live is shortened to get you in, sweating, and out the door in 30 minutes.
Rock Steady Boxing
This program uses the mechanics of boxing for those with Parkinson’s by focusing on the PD symptoms including, balance, stiffness, tremors, coordination, and soft voice syndrome. This is accomplished through non-contact boxing, punching a heavy bag, doing footwork, and stretching.
Step & Strength
A full-body cardio workout that will tone your glutes and thighs. In this hour long class, you can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping, with kickboxing, squat and lunge patterns while utilizing a rectangular platform. The platforms are 4″ high, and can be adjusted by adding risers so the step becomes taller, increasing the intensity of the workout. Add in an invigorating playlist, a fun instructor, and you’ll leave buzzing with satisfaction!
Tai Chi
Discover strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness, while boosting concentration, and reducing both stress and anxiety. This class can be done standing or seated.
Yoga 30
A mixed-level 30-minute vinyasa yoga, appropriate for all experience levels, is offered in this class. Instructed in a gentle, slow-paced environment easing muscles into a greater range of motion. More practice time is spent in each pose refining proper alignment, awareness, and breath.
Zumba® Gold
Is great for active older adults looking for a modified Zumba® class at a lower intensity that introduces easy-to-follow choreography with a focus on balance, range of motion, and coordination. Get fit, stay fit, and burn calories while having fun at the best exercise class ever!
Zumba® Gold Toning
Tailored for active older adults, who want to focus on muscle conditioning and light weight activity. This class blends the Zumba® party you love at a slower pace with a redefining total body workout using toning sticks or light weights to shake up those muscles! Leave this class feeling exhilarated and empowered!
